ZINE PORTFOLIO

I make zines both solo and collaboratively using collage, text, printing and illustration. I also make e-zines. One of the things I love about zines is their materiality and how that adds to what they mean. I also love their offline-ness, in a world where we experience so much through screens. For that reason, I haven’t shared any of my paper zines in full here but instead just shared a few pages that give a sense of my work.

If any of the pages speak to you and you want the whole zine, email me and I will send it to you if I still have it - they are meant to be shared.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to make zines together, or if you have a project that you would like me to document through a zine. I have particular experience creating zines about research projects as an accessible alternative to an academic article. For examples, see here and here. I have also used zines and illustration as a way to take ethnographic notes, for example in this recent project in a dementia care setting.

I also run zine workshops, and started an initiative called Zines for Gaza, using zines to share the campaigns and stories of families in Gaza .
