I work as a creative facilitator, creating spaces and opportunities for people to come together and make music and sound. I have been leading music workshops since 2016, and have done so at venues and spaces all over the UK including schools, hospitals, care homes, and community and arts organisations. I love creating invitations for people to improvise, find their voice, and experience moments of connection. I also use creative facilitation as part of my practice as a researcher.
In 2026, I started working on Saeeda Studio, which will launch this summer!
Recent workshops I have run include:
a regular singing group at the charity Women for Refugee Women (ongoing)
a series of workshops for people of Muslim heritage to explore sound and music in relation to healing, at the Kiln Theatre (Jan-March 2025)
a workshop inviting people to create music in response to artworks in a new exhibition at the Crafts Council, commissioned by the Arab-British centre (Nov 2025)
an improvisation workshop at Underground Social, Cairo (April 2026)
